Terms of service

These terms govern your use of PawsStay (the “Platform”), operated by Sangam Spardha Pariksha Kendra (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What PawsStay is

PawsStay is an online marketplace that connects pet parents (“Owners”) with individuals who care for pets in their homes (“Hosts”). Hosts are independent and are not our employees or agents. We provide the platform, payment collection, verification tools and support.

2. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older and give accurate information, including about your pet.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your OTP and password private.
• One account may be used both to book stays and to host.

3. Owners

• Your pet's profile — health, medicines, vaccinations and temperament — must be complete and truthful. Anti-rabies vaccination valid for the entire stay is mandatory.
• You must disclose any history of aggression or biting.
• You authorise the Host to seek veterinary care in an emergency if you cannot be reached; reasonable vet costs are your responsibility.

4. Hosts

• Your listing, photos and videos must truthfully represent your home and the care you provide.
• You must provide safe, clean, supervised care as described, follow the Owner's feeding and medication instructions, and post daily updates.
• You must contact the Owner and, if needed, a veterinarian immediately in an emergency.
• You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your earnings.

5. Bookings and payments

A booking is confirmed only when the Host accepts and the Owner pays in full through the Platform. Payments are processed by Razorpay. We hold the payment and release the Host's earnings, after deducting our service fee of 12% plus applicable GST, 48 hours after the stay is completed, unless a problem is reported. Arranging or paying for stays outside the Platform is not permitted.

7. Reviews and content

Reviews must be honest and about a real stay. You grant us a licence to display content you upload (photos, videos, reviews) on the Platform. We may remove content that is false, abusive or unlawful.

8. Liability

We verify identities and review listings but cannot guarantee the conduct of any Owner, Host or pet. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the fees we received for that booking. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, endanger animals or people, or misuse the Platform.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at the city of our registered office.
